Amy Huberman shares gas tribute to Brian after big honour

Brian O’Driscoll entered the Leinster Rugby Hall of Fame on Tuesday, and his number one supporter was on hand to congratulate him, with just the right amount of playful teasing involved.

Amy Huberman showed just how proud she was of her sporting legend hubby in the couple’s typical fashion by making fun of him! She took to social media to share snaps of the former Ireland captain at O’Reilly Hall in UCD, Dublin.

Brian looked dapper in a black suit and fitted white shirt as he took to the stage to accept the prestigious award, in front of Leinster players past and present. The 46-year-old flashed a shy grin as Amy snapped a pic of him when he stepped off the stage.

‘Congratulations to Bodface, who entered the Leinster Rugby Hall of Fame last night, the actress wrote. I have no idea how long he’ll be in there, but our house has certainly been quieter since,’ she joked.

The mum-of-three pulled off an extremely risky move before heading to the event, as she decided to get busy in the kitchen, whipping up a family-sized portion of bolognese. That could have gone very wrong!

‘And just to add to any nerves last night, I thought it was an ideal time to make up the spaghetti bolognese while in a white suit just before we left the house,’ she joked with her fans.

‘Here’s to Leinster’s year next year!!’ the Dublin lady wrote. Of course, Amy had to give the people what they want, offering her followers a final gas pun.

‘And I also wanted to add ‘Bod loves a trier’ for the simple fact that it’s a pun. Maybe it should be try-er? Either way…’ she joked.

Famous faces rushed to the comment section to congratulate Brian on receiving the impressive accolade. ‘Well done @brianodriscoll …but can your suit also get into the hall of fame? It really deserves it,’ Laura Whitmore wrote.

‘Yes to you both!!!! Nice one @brianodriscoll Xxx. Ps; Spag Bol looked delish Delia xxx,’ Lucy Kennedy added.
