Stylish Leinster WAGs impress rugby awards ball

The sun was shining almost as brightly as the fabulous style on show at the Leinster Rugby Awards Ball on Tuesday.

Several of the team’s big names stepped out with their glam partners for the evening at O’Reilly Hall in UCD, Dublin, which saw Linda Djougang named Women’s Player of the Year Award and RG Snyman named Men’s Players’ Player of the Year.

Among the rugby players making the evening a date night was Josh van der Flier and his wife Sophie, who rocked a baby blue halterneck dress, and James Lowe and his wife Arni, who was glowing in a pink dress just four months after the arrival of their little girl Renn.

Sophie’s mini was fitted on the sides and boasted a fun frilled front that added a little something extra to her look. She accessorised with a silver mini bag and very on-trend flats.

The dress appears to be the Astrid dress by Aje which is available to rent from €105 from Irish company 105fashionrental.

Meanwhile, Arni opted for a pastel midi dress, wearing a halterneck baby pink number with a fitted corset-style waist and looser skirt.

Pink was a popular option at the 2025 ball with Charlotte Murphy, who is dating Ciaran Frawley, and Emma Hempenstall who is in a relationship with Hugo Keenan.

Emma’s maxi was covered in a sparkling beaded design and had a long tie down the back. She added silver heels and a small bag to complete her look.

Exiting Leinster player Ross Byrne and his wife India Healy O’Connor, who wore one of the bridesmaids’ dresses from their wedding last August, were also in attendance at the ball.

India’s girl gang looked incredible in the Zimmerman mini dresses on her big day and it looks like she wanted to give the dress a spin as well – a feeling many brides will relate to!

The entrepreneur, who is prepping for a big move with her husband, accessorised the floral mini with a pair of grey kitten heels and wore her blonde hair down.

Tuesday was also a big night for Cian Healy who is retiring at the end of this season as the most capped Leinster and Irish player of all time.

He was joined at the event by his wife Laura who stunned in a fitted black dress, with the couple proudly posing for pictures on the night.

All Blacks star Jordie Barrett was another rugby player honoured at the ball ahead of his time with Leinster ending at the closing of the season.

His partner Alice Marshall followed Laura Healy’s lead in a black outfit, wearing what appears to be the Ultimate Muse Crystal Maxi Skirt from chic brand Odd Muse.

Leinster legend Brian O’Driscoll was also at the event alongside his wife Amy Huberman to celebrate being inducted into the Guinness Hall of Fame.

Amy looked as stylish as ever in a white suit with wide-leg trousers and a long-line blazer with pearls down the arms.

The actress and businesswoman who, recently launched her own wine brand, has had the suit in her wardrobe for a couple of years and it’s from designer Nadine Merabi.

Linda Djougang also had reason to celebrate at the Leinster Rugby awards ball as she was presented with the Women’s Player of the Year Award 24/25.
